I am not a professional but a passionate of photography. A few years ago I switched to an analog camera and discovered what grain means, how important the contrast of the lens is, and the excitation to develop my films myself.
I started with a Minolta SRT101 and after one film I quickly preferred the XD5 and XD7 of the same brand.
The touch of the leatherette, the minimalism of the dials and the overall design convinced me.
What I like in film photography?
- Smaller than my 5D mkIII
- Cheaper lenses
- The sound of the shutter
- Cranking the lever
- Waiting weeks for the result...
As I'm not a native English speaker, I ask you for a bit of tolerance with the writing.
I have been living since 2019 in Tettnang, on Lake Constance. If you want a shooting or learn to photograph film, feel free to contact me.
